Abstract

The article represents the results of analysis of Ukrainian population disability due to diseases of urogenital system, which indicate improvement in urological care effectiveness during recent years, although the number of people who annually go on disability remains high. Such improvement is mainly caused by implementation of organ-sparing surgery into routine practice in patients with renal trauma, urinary tract abnormalities, hydronephrosis, initial stages of kidney cancer, urinary stone disease, etc., thus avoiding situations when functioning kidney is removed, which leads to disability level decrease.
