Abstract
The title compound, [Zn2(C22H20Cl2N4O2)(H2O)2](NO3)2, was obtained by the ion-exchange reaction of a dinuclear zinc(II)–diperchlorate complex of the macrocycle with Zn(NO3)2·6H2O. The complex lies about a centre of symmetry and the coordination about the Zn atom is distorted square pyramidal. Intermolecular hydrogen bonds and π–π stacking interactions form a three-dimensional supramolecular network.
