Abstract
In this mini-review, the application of P*-chiral diamidophosphites in metal-catalyzed asymmetric reactions. These ligands demonstrate moderate to high levels of asymmetric induction in Pd-catalyzed enantioselective allylations of (E)-1,3-diphenylallyl acetate, desymmetrizations of N,N’-ditosyl-meso-cyclopent-4-ene-1,3-diol bis-carbamate, in the asymmetric construction of quaternary carbon stereocenters and Rh-catalyzed hydrogenation of (Z)-methyl 2-acetamido-3-phenylacrylate.
