Abstract
15 pigmented rats with unilateral visual decortications were trained to perform diametrically opposed discriminations mediated by opposite eyes. Further lesions were then placed in anterior cortex or were placed either anteriorly or posteriorly in striate cortex. Performances were unimpaired by anterior lesions, but disruption though incomplete occurred with either type of posterior lesion.
