Abstract

Inspired by the writings of Adam Phillips, Ali Smith, and Giacomo Leopardi, the “Dialogue between Obsession and Dress” explores the presence and importance of association and imagination in the process of collecting dress. Stepping away from the traditional form of academic writing, this contribution invites the reader to think differently about obsession and its origins.
