Abstract

The Anderson lattice model including nearest-neighbor magnetic exchange interactions is studied on a simple cubic lattice through a diagrammatic expansion around the atomic limit. We obtain the correlation functions between f- and conduction electrons on the same site and between f-electrons on nearest-neighbor sites. Both functions decrease with temperature in such a way that crossover temperatures T K and T corr, respectively, can be defined which depend on the parameters of the model. The emerging description is compared to the predictions of the Doniach diagram and more recent approaches.
