Abstract

Five chapters of this excellent reference treatise on diagnostic roentgenology have been revised under the direction of Robbins, the new editor and successor to Ross Golden. Robbins has been responsible for the X-Ray Seminar which appears monthly inThe Journal. In keeping with the practice initiated by the founding editor, outstanding, highly qualified physicians were selected for the revisions. A reference volume such as this demands revision at regular intervals. New concepts, techniques, and critical reviews should have rather broad distribution. The specialist in other fields cannot escape the contributions of roentgenology and will seek reference help in this subject from time to time. It is also expected that the general physician would find much of value in such a volume.
