Abstract
Introduction: Diagnostic and management pathways for lentigo maligna (LM) are challenging, due to the risk of transformation into lentigo malignant melanoma (LMM) of 5–20%. Clinical guidance recommends excisional biopsies of 2–5 mm margins as gold standard. Consistency to this between different clinicians and specialties remains poor. We report our experience.
