Abstract

SUMMARY The distinction that appears in the literature between different types of acting out according to different types of pathology seems to us interesting and important. The character and expression of acting out are different among normal people, neurotic people, people with personality disturbance and psychotic people. The aim of this paper is to present typical manifestations of acting out that were revealed in the course of our work with a therapeutic group, and to discuss these manifestations in the context of relevant theoretical material.
