Abstract

Abstract A recent study found that a majority of pediatric patients diagnosed with central nervous system primitive neuroectodermal tumors may have other types of central nervous system cancers instead. Researchers also concluded that these rare brain tumors fall into four distinct molecular subtypes. The findings may lead to more accurate diagnoses and more-tailored treatment plans.
