Abstract

Introduction: Malignancy of gall bladder is quite common. However, it cannot always be diagnosed only by clinical history and examination. We have evaluated diagnostic accuracy of USG-guided FNAC in GB mass. Material and Methods: 37 cases were included in this study. USG-guided FNAC was done. Result: USG-guided FNAC gave 93.5% sensitivity, 100% specificity and 93.5% diagnostic accuracy. Conclusion: USG-guided FNAC is a good adjuvant to clinical and radiological findings in diagnosing carcinoma of gall bladder.
