Abstract

To explore the clinical features, diagnosis and treatment of primary pulmonary rare malignant tumors. Forty-nine patients with primary pulmonary rare malignant tumors were retrospectively analysed about their clinicopathological characteristics and X-ray signs, as well as methods of diagnosis and treatment. Among 49 patients, which was 0. 70% ( 41/ 5 872) of all pulmonary tumors resected in the same period, 1 case was diagnosed by bronchoscope biopsy, 2 cases by lymph node biopsy, and 4 cases by pulmonary puncture and biopsy. Another 41 cases ( 83. 6%, 41/ 49) underwent surgical operation and were pathologically diagnosed after operation. Surgical operation is main measure in the diagnosis and treatment of primary pulmonary rare malignant tumors.
