Introduction

In order to successfully manage change processes, it is necessary to analyze the phases of this process, identify the causes of resistance to change and diagnose the resistance to change. Most successful organizations are those that are able to adjust themselves to new conditions quickly This requires preparing for change, managing change through resistance management plan and reinforcing change that lead to improve the organizational effectiveness. Change is any alteration occurring in the work environment that affects the way in which employees will act. In the current climate many companies are dealing with difficult situations and resistance types while implementing changes. They need to understand different resistance states such as cognitive, emotional and behavioural, and identify the causes of change resistance and forms of change resistance. Developing efficient ways to introduce and implement change can ease the stress the staff feels when change is introduced, and it can help the vendors, customers and business partners adjust to any changes in the way an organization does business
