Abstract

Abstract A description is provided for Diachora erebia . Information is included on the disease caused by the organism, its transmission, geographical distribution, and hosts. HOSTS: Caragana arborescens, C. frutex (syn. C. frutex f. latifolia ), C. microphylla, Caragana sp. DISEASE: Tar spot of leaves. GEOGRAPHICAL DISTRIBUTION: China (Mongolia; Sikang), India, Russia. TRANSMISSION: No research is available, but probably through air-borne dispersal both of over-wintered ascospores and conidia in the spring.
