Abstract

Recent evidence suggests that diabetes mellitus (DM) may increase the risk of developing Parkinson’s disease (PD) and predisposes to more severe cognitive disturbances amongst PD patients. However, the effects of DM on levodopa-induced motor complications and other non-motor complications are not well studied.
