Abstract

The deficiency of analyzing aircraft's scene navigability where scene is modeled by Gauss random field is set forth. Wavelet analysis has well time-frequency trait and multiresolution property, which provides an ideal tool for studying the fine content of an image. Based on the wavelet representation, discrete Fractal Brownian Random field is presented as scene's model. Discrete fractal Brownian random field embodies the relation of details at different resolutions. Experiments show that this representation is significant. Then the novel application of this model in analyzing scene navigability is given.
