Abstract
This paper introduces a device for measurement of the modulation transfer function of photographic objectives based on the incoherent imaging of a harmonical (sinusoidal) grating of area type whose spatial frequency is varied continuously in space. Also, the theory of the realized method is shortly introduced, the principle of measurement is explained and some results of measurement are shown.
