Abstract
The structure of the 3D plasma simulation code NONLIN is outlined, together with a review of previous results. A new toroidal version, TORUS, is being used to study the behaviour of the internal sawtooth oscillation at high beta, and preliminary results are given. The conversion of NONLIN to run on the ICL Distributed Array Processor (DAP) is described, and it is shown that a very high performance is achieved.
