Abstract
No new producing wells were drilled in Western Maryland during 1962, although production of gas continued from two fields. Three new wells were drilled in western Virginia, all dry. Gas was produced from Buchanan and Dickenson Counties and some oil in Lee County. There was no drilling on the Coastal Plain.
