Abstract

Coronavirus disease has been able to disrupt the natural course of life for a long time. With its rapid spread and damages caused it became a plague to the world, leading to many deaths, the need for self-isolation and compliance with anti-epidemic rules, and great material damage to businesses. To solve this problem, a smart system has been developed to support the online treatment process of viral diseases in an epidemic situation, using smart wearables and the online treatment process support visual toolkit, which will allow doctors to provide quality medical care to a patient without the risk of infection. Moreover, the system will allow specialists from countries with a large number of physicians to treat patients in countries where there is an obvious shortage of doctors due to the unequal spreading of doctors in the world. The developed system is proposed to be applied in the online treatment process of coronavirus disease. The main data and the smart wearables needed to monitor them during the treatment process of coronavirus disease are investigated and a generalized treatment scheme for coronavirus disease, if there are no complications, is presented which proves the possibility of presenting the treatment scheme of viral diseases through the online treatment process support visual toolkit. By generalizing the steps taken to select the best devices to use in the online treatment support IoT system of coronavirus disease, the best devices’ selection algorithm to monitor the data needed for the online treatment support IoT system has been developed.
