Abstract

In the presented article, cases of reduction of pump efficiency as a result of back leakage of liquid from annular partitions in the plunger-cylinder pair of sucker rod pumps are considered, and the availability of various methods to prevent this back leakage is shown. Mathematical equations were obtained to minimize energy losses by analytical method, and based on this, the optimal design option of pumps was proposed.
