Abstract

The model based on Double Weighted Fourier Transform (DWFT) has made it possible to propose a spatial radio signal processing that decreases amplitude fluctuations and improve resolution of inhomogeneous-media diagnostic instruments. In this report, we use the DWFT model to demonstrate the possibility of considerably reducing the ionospheric error in measurements made by multi-frequency global navigation satellite systems (GNSS) after Fresnel inversion. Through the Fock proper-time method, the DWFT model is valid for the case of wave reflection from a layer with irregularities. For a layer with linear permittivity profile we show the transformation of our findings into the known strict solution without irregularities. For weak irregularities, the DWFT model changes into the single scattering model and therefore can be used for describing the F-spread phenomenon.
