Abstract
ABSTRACT The question of stainless steel argon arc welding without filler wire in order to receive high-quality full penetration and welding joint reinforcement — the “auto-pressing” method is considered. The “auto-pressing” welding variants of thin-walled pipelines from steel 08Х18N10Т are described. The analysis of welding modes is carried out. The data of mechanical properties and metallographic studies of the obtained welded joints are given.
