Abstract

To implement a flexible service creation tool for Intelligent Network (IN), not only the environment where service can be created and modified (Service Creation Environment: SCE) but also the environment where operation of the created service may be validated (Service Test Environment: STE) are required in accordance with ITU-T/CSI (Capability Set I). The service creation process consists of two stages: in the first stage, SIBs (Service Independent Building Blocks) will be chained into a service feature and in the second, a combination of resultant service features will make up a service. According to the service creation procedure described above, operation of individual service features and the service itself will be verified while this level of validation does not guarantee the behavior in the real network, therefore, the higher level environment that enables operation of each network element to be simulated is required. In this report we describe the outline of our CSI-based SCE and STE, which are being developed considering the points mentioned above.
