Abstract

The integration of technology and informatics into educational settings has become increasingly important in the modern world. To effectively prepare future informatics teachers, it is imperative to address the development of research competencies as a pedagogical problem. This article explores the significance of research competencies in the context of informatics teacher education, discusses the challenges and barriers faced in their development, and proposes strategies and approaches for overcoming thesechallenges. By addressing the pedagogical problem of research competencies, we aim to enhance the quality of informatics education and ultimately benefit the digital literacy and technological capabilities of students.
