Abstract

Production data Analysis (PDA) is a crucial step to determine the recoverable reserve and predict the future performance of the reservoir. Moreover, using these data for a long period which covers transient and pseudo steady state conditions, will result to a great insight of reservoir behavior. One of the challenges of gas condensate reservoirs is well-deliverability determination. All techniques and models for evaluation of reservoir performance assume the constant well drainage area and single well production. The drainage area of the wells in a multi-well reservoir is affected by the interference effect of the wells. Hence, the prediction of well performance by conventional models, assuming constant well drainage area is not applicable in this case. An overall outline of this study is to propose an analytic technique to distinguish the well performance in a multi-well system in gas condensate reservoirs. Moreover, theoretic perception of pseudo steady state models and dynamic material balance for developed model is presented. With the intension of ascertaining the accuracy of proposed methodology, result of this approach is compared with commercial compositional simulator. The results ensure the accuracy of its application in multi-well gas condensate reservoirs.
