Abstract

The present paper is based on the results of long-term studies of planktonic algae and invertebrates in the fresh, soda and saline and technogenically loaded water bodies. The priority abiotic factors (hydrochemical composition, hydrophysical parameters), determining the development (species number, dominant species, abundance and biomass) of the main taxonomic groups of phyto- and zooplankton were determined.
