Abstract

The research was aimed at, (1) producing a highly valid PBL-based web learning model in accordance with the material experts and learning design; (2) producing a practical PBL-based web learning model for elementary school teacher education students; and (3) producing an effective learning model to improve student learning outcomes. This research applied R & D design referring to the steps proposed by Borg and Gall. The subjects of the research were lecturers and students at Elementary School Teacher Education Study Programs in East Java, Indonesia implementing the MBKM curriculum. The need analysis of research used a questionnaire. The validation of the PBL-based web learning model used a rating scale, while the practicality used descriptive and inferential statistics, while the effectiveness is with learning outcomes tests. The findings of this study are: (1) a feasible PBL-based web learning model referring to the material experts on assessments and experts of learning design in the suitable category; (2) a practical PBL-based web learning model used to improve student learning outcomes; and (3) a web learning model based on PBL is effectively used to improve student learning outcomes and there is a significant difference between before and after using the PBL-based web learning model.
