Abstract

To the Editor: The Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education requires dermatology residents to demonstrate competence in and practical exposure to common cosmetic procedures.1 Although the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education does not mandate particular measurement tools, ideally these should identify specific areas for improvement and convey constructive feedback. Objective Structured Assessment of Technical Skills (OSATS) are one of the best accepted methods for skill assessment intended to evaluate and constructively critique procedural skills.
