Abstract

Photocatalytic properties oflipid vesicles with zinc tetraphenylporphyrin imbedded into their membrane are discussed. The data characterizing the mechanism of action of these systems and the possibility of their use for photocatalytic dihydrogen evolution from water are presented. A method is shown for creation of sufficiently effective and spectrally-sensitized systems for vector electron transfer through a bilayer membrane.
