Abstract

In the present work, ZSM-12/MCM-41 micro–mesoporous composite materials were synthesized by hydrothermal method and characterized by X-ray diffraction, N2 adsorption–desorption at 77 K and transmission electron microscopy, were carried out for characterization. The diffractograms indicated that the synthesized materials present characteristic peaks of the microporous (ZSM-12) and mesoporous (MCM-41) structures. The micro–mesoporous composite materials presented a higher CO2 adsorption capacity than MCM-41 mesoporous materials, confirming the promising application in CO2 capture.
