Abstract
Dedicated to the commencement of operation of the second unit of the Rogun DamThe construction of the Rogun Dam (HPP) has drawn attention of the government of the Republic of Tajikistan. Due to the energy shortage for the population and industry in the winter period, the government resumed the construction of the Rogun HPP. The insufficient capacity of the construction machinery (CM) fleet at the Rogun Dam can be explained by both the unsatisfactory number of construction machines and the significant wear of the available units, resulting in machinery downtime due to failures, which accounts for up to 30% of the working time fund.
