Abstract

In this article, mathematical model for drying raw cotton in solar drying installations has been developed, as well as the dependences of heat exchange processes, taking into account the thickness of the layer of raw cotton has been studied, the equations of heat exchange processes for each component of raw cotton and the graphical dependence of the temperature of hot air have been obtained, mathematical model of drying raw cotton in a pipeline by hot air flow has been developed. The graphical dependences of the change in the speed of air and raw cotton for various methods of drying raw cotton have been determined, the dependences of the efficiency of the drying unit on the heating temperature of the drying agent in the solar collector, the heat capacity of air and raw cotton along the length of the pipeline, as well as the change in the air temperature of the fiber and seeds along the length of the pipeline in solar drying plants working with optical magnifiers have been are obtained.
