Abstract

This article is the product of the nexus of the research projects and linking of the Initial Education and Information System careers, whose objective was to develop mathematical logical thinking in five-year-old children through the development and application of an interactive educational program according to the developmental age, the foundations of the initial education curriculum and the needs and interests of the children. The study approach was quantitative, with a descriptive and longitudinal design, field type, an aspect that allowed the collection of data to later use didactic strategies with the use of Tics. The population sample was carried out in ten children chosen intentionally, who were determined in the first instance the level of knowledge about cognitive processes in the mathematical logical area, in order to define the most convenient activities, in the development of educational software Several phases were considered until reaching the final version, it contains images, videos, texts, feedback messages and audios. The interactive educational program is made up of five components where the child can select the activities that are to his or her greatest liking. On the other hand, a survey was carried out with the parents to obtain information about the interactive educational program and how they influence mathematical logical development in the study population. After applying the didactic tool, it was determined according to the answers provided, satisfactory results in the logical mathematical field of their children.
