Abstract

This study aims to develop an animated video of the LCM instructional materials for elementary students. This study is development research commonly known as Research and Development (R&D) with the Plomp development model. The Plomp development model consists of three phases: preliminary research, development or prototyping, and assessment. The researchers conducted a validity test by asking two instructional media experts and one instructional expert. The researchers conducted a practicality test by asking the teachers and students to complete a questionnaire. The validity test results showed that the animated video scored 88.21%, which means very valid. The results of the practicality test by the teachers showed that the animated video scored 96.94%, which means very practical, and the results of the practicality test by the teachers showed that the animated video scored 90.13%, which means very practical. In conclusion, the animated video of the LCM instructional materials is very valid and practical.
