Abstract

The objectives of this study are: (1) To develop Kompa (Komik Pintar IPA) media on energy source material for grade IV elementary school students; (2) To determine the feasibility of Kompa (Komik Pintar IPA) media on energy source materials for grade IV elementary school students. This research includes Research and Development (RnD) development research using the ADDIE development model. The subject of the study was a grade IV student of SD Muhammadiyah Argosari. Data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires, observations, documentation, and interviews are then analyzed using qualitative and quantitative data analysis. The results of this study are: (1) Kompa (Komik Pintar IPA) media has been successfully developed on energy source material for grade IV elementary school students; (2) The feasibility of Kompa media is evidenced by the results of the media expert validation assessment obtained a value of 89.77%. Expert assessment of the material by 90% with the category is very feasible. The linguist's assessment of 92.86% with the category is very decent. The assessment of learning experts was 86.11% with a very decent category. The teacher's assessment result of 80% with the category is very decent. The results of the small group trial were 92.92% and in the large group trial, a value of 93.24% was obtained, so that the science smart comic on the energy source material for grade IV elementary school was suitable for use in the learning process.
