Abstract

The development results of technology for obtaining of experimental plow shares, reinforced by surface alloying of working surfaces with a hardening composition in a casting mould are presented. Сarbon and low-alloy steels are used as a main material for plow shares casting, and the alloyed layer is formed using high-chromium cast iron of the PG-S27 grade. It is shown that the usage of this technology can significantly increase the area of cultivated land up to 62 hectares until the critical wear of the plow share.
