Abstract

Point at the problems of low efficiency, inaccurate detection effect and unsafe detection process in pipeline detection, this paper designs an endoscopic detection robot for water and gas pipeline system, which uses digital image processing technology of inertial navigation data and computer vision technology. It mainly includes two parts: mechanical structure design and testing software design. The detection robot automatically collects the inner wall information of the pipeline, and the detection software uses the inertial navigation data to de blur, segment and then splice the image, and detects, identifies, locates and classifies the defects in the image, and automatically generates the detection report. The detection process is faster and the detection results are more accurate, which have been verified by step experiments. The system reduces the dependence of detection process on operators and ensures the safety of detection personnel.
