Abstract

An electronic interface complete with user interface for voltammetric electronic tongue meant for analysis of natural liquid samples has been developed. The developed electronic interface contains various electronic modules; data acquisition system, multi-range potentiostat circuit, electrode switching circuit, and LabViewbased analysis software. The interface has been tested with an electrode array of five working electrodes. This work compares different analysis techniques; cyclic and pulse voltammetry. The signal processing has been done with discrete wavelet transform (DWT) and principal component analysis (PCA) to differentiate various liquid samples such as black tea, green tea, tap water, pure water and milk.
