Therefore, it is urgent to innovate the urban elderly care model to cope with the pressure of population aging. The new rural areas at the edge of big cities has the advantages for the urban elderly in the aspects of natural environment, geographical location, rural scenery, characteristic buildings, infrastructure, culture and entertainment, green organic food, etc. At the same time, undertaking urban elderly care industry introduces new economic opportunities for new rural areas, which conforms to the needs for developing elderly industry and promotes the free flow of urban and rural production factors. In the information society, “internet plus elderly care” has been developing rapidly in the context of the increasingly serious population aging of China. Combining internet, internet of things, cloud computing, big data, the “smart elderly care” makes care services more convenient, personalized and humanized. So, it is possible to develop elderly care industry in urban-rural areas in light of “Internet plus” background to realize that the elderly can enjoy emergency assistance, commodity purchase, health management, medical treatment and other services in different areas.
