Abstract

Monitoring of blood serum redox potential (RP) in patients with liver transplants was performed in the course of postoperative treatment. It was observed that abrupt RP shifts of over 25 mV corresponded to the onset of a rejection crisis or other dysfunction of the transplant in the patient. A statistically significant sample of 31 patients with liver transplants was examined, with false positive and false negative results not observed.
