Abstract
Trend of development of the computer system in the radiotherapy is presented in this paper. The real time treatement planning system is especially emphasized in the discussion. The system developed in National Cancer Center Hospital, using both the analog and digital computers is introduced in detail. The automation of radiotherapy has been remarkably promoted by this research. In the future, the study will be directed to automatic control both in planning and in treatment which will contribute to the betterment of treatment result of radiotherapy.
