Abstract

Purpose: The Magnetic Resonance Linear accelerator (MR Linac) requires a shift in process from conventional image registration utilising Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) to MR imaging and from a single point to a two point imaging process. This represents challenges in staff training and requires the creation of robust training standards to ensure safe and effective image registration and subsequent treatment delivery.
