Development of Commerce Logistics in China

Abstract

Commerce logistics, an important part of modern logistics, is a bridge connecting production and consumption, playing a fundamental and leading role in the national economy. Developing commerce logistics is of great significance in improving circulation efficiency, reducing logistics costs, and promoting the restructuring and transformation of the circulation industry. In recent years, the development environment of China’s commerce logistics has been markedly improved; the infrastructure of commerce logistics has been continually optimized; the standardization, informationization, intensification, and internationalization of commerce logistics have been notably enhanced. At the same time, a commerce logistics system that features efficiency, intensity, collaboration, sharing, integration, openness, greening, and environmental friendliness is gradually taking shape.
