Abstract

The article discusses the importance of tasks in interior painting for the formation of professional competencies in students of environmenta; design on the example of specific educational works performed within the course "Special Painting" at the Department of Design, Omsk State Technical University. The perception of interiors of various proportions and functionality and ways to reproduce them by means of painting are considered. A comparative analysis of students' works made it possible to establish not only the specific practical significance of the assignments, but also identify the missing links in the curriculum of the discipline and the vectors for overcoming them.
