Abstract

In the paper, to develop a cloud computing based scheduling system, using optimized layout method is proposed. In order to develop a scheduling system considering manufacturing quality, it is necessary to immediately build up different layout mode of production lines. The factors of manufacturing quality are product, equipment, material and human. It makes high cost for scheduling the flexible manufacturing system. So we develop the cloud computing based scheduling system using optimized layout method for manufacturing quality in the research. The architecture of the system contains: i) Cloud database structure. ii) Scheduling engine. iii) Real-time human-machine interface. We use the structure of SQL Azure as the cloud database for scattering and storing data on disk arrays in duplicate. And the scheduling engine contains sequence score system of products, optimized layout system and monitoring system of available resources. It is used to schedule for manufacturing quality by using optimized layout method. We use ASP.NET to program a human-machine interface with real-time data updating, and see real-time data display by this human-machine interface at any time everywhere. We can find it improves general scheduling system without considering manufacturing quality from the results of the experiment in the research. By the advantages of low cost, just good quality, production fluency and flexible management, it is important to develop a cloud computing based scheduling system using optimized layout method for manufacturing quality.
