Abstract

Lass es leuchten: Neue Hypoxie-sensitive Fluoreszenzsonden bestehen aus einer Rhodamin-Einheit mit einem Azo-Substituenten in direkter Konjugation zum Fluorophor. Aufgrund sehr schneller Konformationsänderung entlang der NN-Bindung fluoreszieren die Verbindungen nicht unter Normoxie; unter hypoxischen Bedingungen wird jedoch die Azo-Einheit reduziert, und ein stark fluoreszierendes Rhodamin-Derivat wird freigesetzt.
