Abstract
In connection with the development of electricity metering systems, on December 28, 2018, Federal Law No. 522-FZ of December 27, 2018 came into force, according to what the subjects of the electric power industry become obliged to switch to intelligent electricity metering systems from 2020. In addition, the government has prepared a draft resolution “On approval of the rules for providing access to the minimum set of functions of intelligent electricity metering systems”. Since 2019, in the Republic of Tatarstan, work has been carried out to create an intelligent system for metering electrical energy at power grid facilities, which includes remote reading and transmission of electricity meter readings to the energy sales company, as well as measuring the quality indicators of electrical energy. Analysis of the parameters transmitted from smart electricity meters installed at 0.4-10 kV consumers will lead to the formation of new directions in scientific research.
