Abstract

The Concept of Design is based on Achieving an Omnidirectional Vehicle system from a conventional steering system with the electric drive system. Omnidirectional drives are very common in robotics but conventional and compact vehicles are still using conventional Steering mechanisms. The motive of this paper is to present a new drive technology for vehicles. The goal is to prepare the design and functionality of the control strategy to avoid a non- omnidirectional constraint. This design using traditional tires enables the procedure to be simple and smother motion of the vehicle with high payload capacity, and the orientation of the vehicle will be accurate. After Design Development and Simulations, the benefits and drawbacks of this omnidirectional track drive system are mentioned with its possible application fields.
