Innovative technologies are needed to maintain food freshness, quality and safety, while reducing concentrations of chemical additives
This work aimed the development of an active packaging material to preserve lyophilized tropical fruits pulp powder and to study the stability provided by the active packaging
Active packaging material was low density polyethylene (LDPE) film incorporated with Tinuvin 326(UV absorber) and iron powder in different concentrations (0-0.5% and 0-15% w/w, respectively)
